This past fall we installed 30 Suntech 210W solar panels on our roof for a total of 6.3 kWh. Austin Energy has a good rebate program, and we took adv...antage of rebates for both 2008 and 2009 (each rebate covers a maximum of 3.0 kWh). It’s a straight grid-tie system, so we still draw from the City at night.
We're lucky, we have the perfect roof for solar. More
